“Open Farm Agora” is a versatile space located in the Consumer Market of Central Market of Athens (OKAA SA), where we invite the city public to participate in a wide range of events & activities including seminars, workshops, tastings, culinary experiences, market tours, parties, concerts and more.
In “Agora” as well as our “eshop“, we promote the best products, sourced directly from our Network, also providing information about their history, origin and properties!
At the same time, we design and implement various educational programs for schools, organizations and the urban population. Our goal is to inform and educate citizens of all ages about environmental issues, healthy eating, through raising awareness of the need for an immediate transition to sustainable agro-food production and consumption systems.
Our “farm2school” program focuses on designing and installing Mediterranean, agroecological gardens in schools, for the development of experiential education to students. During the outdoor lessons, the children are developing new skills & virtues of interaction and cooperation, while caring for their garden.
