As a student of agricultural sciences, she sought to explore agronomy and the fascinating world of plants by cultivating within the city while also venturing into the countryside, collecting local varieties, wild greens, mushrooms, and knowledge.
As a graduate agronomist, she dedicated several significant years to academic and research development, specializing in environmental studies, horticultural crops, education, and the management of trusted relationships.
As a lover of the magical world of agronomy, she is now involved in open farms, having found meaning and inspiration in the field of action, the subject she adores, the interaction with people from both the city and the countryside—all while working among wonderful local products.
Balancing equally between the mountains and the sea (being half from Ioannina and half from Kefalonia), when she isn’t here, you’ll find her fishing by some sea or sitting under a rescued plane tree beside a river.

From a young age, she loved exploration—observing leaves through a magnifying glass and being surrounded by mountains, blooming meadows, and little streams.
rom a young age, she loved exploration—observing leaves with a magnifying glass and spending time in mountains, blooming meadows, and by streams. She was born in Athens but spent much of her childhood in a small village on Mount Parnon, where she experienced every kind of rural activity—from cultivating vegetables in her grandfather’s garden to gathering eggs from the chickens every morning and helping out in the family’s fields. Her love for nature, the environment, and agriculture led her to immerse herself in the magical world of plants.
She studied Agronomy at the Agricultural University of Athens and completed her master’s degree in Organic Farming and Integrated Management. She works as a researcher on various European projects, but her true passion lies in field research, as she loves the countryside and its people.
She has a deep love for traveling, exploring rural Greece, agritourism, and alternative tourism in general. She delights in constantly discovering local products—those hidden treasures of Greek land and gastronomy—while getting to know the people behind them and their stories. Wherever she goes, she tries honey, tsipouro, wines, jams, olive oil, herbs, agricultural products, and local cuisine.
Her dream is to highlight these small treasures to a broader audience and educate consumers on how one of the most essential human goods—our food—is produced. Her collaboration with Open Farm is helping to make these dreams a reality.
When she’s not at work, you’ll either find her hiking or traveling by car to the smallest and most unknown villages in the Greek countryside.

He feels most at ease in the fields, with a particular fondness for the olive groves, where he can often be found.
Should he not be there, he is likely atop a mountain—exhausted but profoundly content.
Should he not be there, he is likely atop a mountain—exhausted but profoundly content.
I was born and raised in Chaidari. I hold a degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the Agricultural University of Athens. Although I did not always know that I wanted to become an agronomist, I spent all my childhood summers in my grandparents' vegetable garden.
Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I was an active member of the Scouts of Greece. There, I learned to live in harmony with nature, to leave a place better than I found it, and that sleeping in a tent during a rainstorm is not as bad as it sounds.
In my professional life, I have worked in farmers' markets, plant nurseries, and garden construction and maintenance. Additionally, I have experience as a Quality Control Technician in a chocolate production factory—though, contrary to popular belief, it was nothing like the famous movie!
I feel most at home in the fields, with a particular fondness for olive groves—if you search for me there, you will find me. If not, I will be on some mountaintop—sweaty, yet truly happy.
